The stock axles on the Polaris XP Turbo are fine for regular easy trail riding and stock tires, but as soon as you start really pushing your machine and move up to bigger tires, they quickly show they’re not up to the task. If you like to play on hills, in the rocks, sling the mud or have simply moved up to bigger tires, then you’re going to have to upgrade your axles to keep your machine from breaking them.

RCV Pro Series II
If you’re looking for the strongest axles on the planet and money is not a concern, then there’s no need to look any further than this axle.

The Pro Series II features a sealed outboard CV with their signature orange accordion style boot made from high strength materials Testing has shown that the Pro Series II axles to be two times stronger than the OEM shafts. The axle shaft is constructed of 300M steel with 33 splines. 300M is a high strength steel that allows a high degree of torsional twist that allows the axle to have a much higher yield strength before breaking. The CVs feature a 4340 chromoly body and 300M internals for the strongest axle on the market today and designed for extreme racing conditions and the toughest terrains. Replacement and maintenance products are available for all RCV products.
The RCV Pro Series II is made in the USA and backed by a one year warranty.
SuperATV Rhino X300
While the X300 isn’t cheap by any stretch, they are the strongest axle that you can buy to cover your entire machine without spending more than $2000.
X300 is about more than brute strength, it’s about flex. When X300 gets hit with a torque load that would break other axles, the 300M shaft twists until the load is gone then returns to its original position. A shaft that can flex without breaking takes the load off your CVs and drivetrain. The shaft can give so your drivetrain doesn’t have to.
SuperATV’s Rhino X300 axles for the Polaris RZR XP Turbo change the game. With a 300M shaft that flexes to absorb force instead of breaking, you get CV’s that don’t break, a drivetrain that won’t buckle, and the ability to go on bigger, meaner rides.
The Rhino X300 is backed by one of the strongest warranties in the industry with a three year limited warranty, which involves an exchange program. If you break it, they will replace it for $100 for as many times as you are able to during that original purchase period.
GSP Revolution Axles
GSP offers an industry exclusive with their Revolution Axles. Not only is it one of the world’s most innovative axle, it is a complete driveline solution due to its “Hollow Tube Twist” technology.
While these axles are still significantly stronger than stock, if you’re line of thinking is that if one thing is unbreakable, that just means that something else is going to break, then these axles are just the ticket. Think of it as a the GSP Revolution axle as a fuse for your drivetrain. While it’s not the strongest axle on the planet, it may save your transmission or prop shaft from breaking.
Revolution Axles reigns supreme in getting power to your wheels as well. The hollow tube technology makes these axles significantly lighter. This reduces shock load and unsprung weight. With faster transfer of power to the ground, you can enjoy any terrain.
SuperATV Rhino 2.0
SuperATV’s Rhino 2.0 Axles combine maximized shafts and CVs with heavy-duty 4340 steel that’s heat treated for superior strength and longevity. The result is a heavy-duty axle that can handle 40°+ axle angles without binding or overheating and can handle massive torque without breaking.
The Rhino 2.0 uses a high-strength 4340 chromoly steel that is then heat treated to SuperATVs specifications. This balanced combination of design and technology gives Rhino the impressive ability to absorb energy without breaking. Another important property of 4340 is its high twist yield. Though it doesn’t have the tosion rotation of 300M, it is significantly stronger than OEM 1541 steel. SATV has designed each shaft to have yield properties that allow it flex and return back to its regular state.
The SuperATV Rhino 2.0 is backed by an 18 month warranty. If the axle fails for any reason within 60 days from the date of purchase, SuperATV will ship a replacement axle free of charge. If the axle fails after 60 days, but within the first 18 months of the date of purchase then the axle will be replaced for a small $50 fee.
TrakMotive HD Axles
The HD Axles from TrakMotive are the most budget friendly quality axle on our list.
The HD axles are made of 4340 chromoly steel. This doesn’t apply to just the shaft itself. The housings, along with the race and cage are upgraded to 4340 chromoly as well. The boots are even more tough than their OE upgraded versions. Constructed of thermoplastic elastomer, the TPE boot is significantly more tear and puncture resistant than stock. The upgraded chromoly cage and housings are also polished to reduce friction and wear, while also using the same upgraded grease as their OE replacement axles to keep down the temperatures of the joints. These axles were designed for high speed, full throttle riding and have been shown to be 35% stronger than stock axles.
The CV cages are polished to minimize friction and reduce wear. The CV cage design, along with their upgraded grease will reduce operating temperatures, which will help further extend life of the axle.
Backed by a one year warranty, TrakMotive stands behind their product and manufacturing processes for any breakage.
