Factory plastics do little to protect the front end of your Polaris RZR. Your lights and radiator are especially exposed. The relatively thin factory frame can easily be damaged as well. If you’re wanting to protect the front end of your UTV, investing in a front bumper is a must.
Amazon has a good selection of bumpers for the RZR for nearly any budget. We’ve gone through Amazon and taken note of some that we think are good options from the world’s largest mega retailer.
Bad Dawg Accessories Front Bumper With Bull Bar
Big, bulky and designed to take a hit, this Bad Dawg bumper package comes with a bull bar to protect your radiator and is made from 1/8″ plate steel to protect the front of your rig. If you’re a fan of steel plate bumpers instead of tube bumpers like most manufacturers, this is a great option. The angles of the bumper are designed to follow the RZR’s factory lines.
The Bad Dawg bumper is laser cut and welded for a great look, great fit, and durable construction. It is then powder coated texture black for superior protection and a long-last finish. It includes an integrated winch mount constructed with 3/16″ american steel, capable of mounting most UTV winches up to 4,500 lbs. The winch mount allows you to mount your winch directly behind the main bumper structure. This provides added protection from mud and debris for your winch.
The bumper does stick out somewhat, which can hinder your approach angles. Also, even though the enclosed design does afford your winch a degree of protection from the elements, because it is enclosed, it does make winch maintenance a bit more difficult.
Genuine Polaris RZR RS1 Extreme Duty Front Bumper
The Polaris RZR RS1 doesn’t get enough love on our site and we rarely pick OEM accessories, but we love this bumper for the RS1. It makes the one seat RZR from Polaris look tough and it has the performance to match.
If you’ve ever worked on anything on your RS1, you will know that with the small size of the machine, engineers had to get creative in their placement of various parts, so installation requires some removal of multiple components, however doing so is fairly easy. The bumper itself is well braced to take on obstacles and provides a strong mounting point to attach your winch. The winch mount is rated for most UTV winches up to 4,500 lbs.
The satin black powdercoat nicely matches the rest of the machine and the lines of the front bumper perfectly forms to the contours of the front end.
Aces Racing Polaris Sport Bumper

The Aces racing Polaris RZR Sport Bumper will fit the XP 1000 and XP Turbo. This bumper is about as simple as it gets, but gives an impressive minimalist look, while providing the critical protection and approach angles that racers need. The bumper is built from .095 wall steel and then powdercoated in a smooth semi-gloss black. The bumper also comes with a removable skid plate that provides even more protection. If you’re running a separate hidden winch mount, the skid plate can either be removed or not installed for ease of access. The bumper also has light Bar tabs for up to a 10 inch light bar or multiple individual lights depending on how the light mounts.
Installation is super easy, using only four bolts that go into factory mounting locations.
50 Caliber Racing Tube Steel Front Bumper
50 Caliber Racing offers this affordable race style bumper for the 2010+ XP 1000 and XP Turbo and is made in the USA.
Constructed from .095 wall steel tubing, this bumper is strong yet lightweight. Each bumper features hand welded joints for strength and is powdercoated for a durable, long lasting finish. Installation is a simple four bolt in factory mounting location design.
The bumper features tabs for a 50 Caliber Racing 10 inch Elite light bar and can use similar length other brands of lights with side post mounting solutions. The CNC machined end caps for the bumper make for some of the nicest finishing touches we have seen on a bumper, especially in this price range.
SuperATV Heavy Duty Front Brush Guard Bumper
The Polaris RZR XP Turbo Heavy Duty Front Bumper from SuperATV is made with 1.75” x 1/16” wall steel DOM tubing for superior strength. It provides maximum coverage with tubing around the headlights, grill, and body plastic to ensure your entire front end is protected. The coverage protection from the SATV bumper is the most of any of the bumpers that we have reviewed here.
The UV-resistant powder coating holds up well to the sun and the welds of the SATV are suprisingly clean for an import bumper. The SuperATV bumper features CNC machined end caps offer a nice finishing touch to the bumper. The tubing of the product is bent to match your RZR’s front end styling and is one of the few full coverage bumpers out there that actually compliment the styling of a Polaris front end without looking awkward.
Installation is a simple four bolt-on design using four bolts in factory mounting locations and attachment of the two CNC machined end caps.
